My experience with Paintless Dent Removal began in 1991. At the time I was doing conventional auto body repairs for a large bodyshop chain. At that time, this company had recently seen PDR demonstrated, and wanted to get in on the PDR opportunity themselves. I was chosen to be the first candidate to be trained, I was told, because of my attention to detail, and natural talent with sheetmetal. I was sent to Dent Magic in Kansas City, and found that PDR came quite naturally. I started out calling on dealers, and servicing bodyshops both in and out of our chain. Eventually I was put in charge of training additional techs. Several years later I moved to a position with another body shop chain to head up their PDR department. At this position I developed several techs for local route work, a national hail team, and a national claims service, doing adjusting for commercial dealer accounts.

In 2000, I ventured out on my own and formed New Dent Solutions and Reid’s Claims Inc. In recent years my focus has been on servicing body shops with PDR in the Mpls/St. Paul area, as well as serving various companies that we are networked with around the U.S.
