Life long central Illinois native and resident. Started my auto repair career at the age of 14 where I painted my first car, 1968 cutlass in my Dads garage.. From there I was hired at a local body shop after graduating From Eureka High in 1984. 2 years later I was managing the shop. I worked There till 1989 when the Mitsubishi auto manufacturing recruited me to work in their metal finish and PDR department. I was sent to Japan to learn The skills of PDR, metal finishing, lead work and paint touch-up. I worked in The Mitsubishi plant performing and perfecting the afore mention skills to to new car quality standards as I was fixing dozens to hundreds of dents on cars 5-6 days a week for 10 years. In June of 1999 I decided to move on and Start Metal Medic PDR. A week after I was pushing hail in OKC from the aftermath of the 2 F5 tornados that spun off widespread hail. Since Then I have opened a body shop and PDR/hail repair facility in Eureka. I am an I-CAR platinum certified individual, ASE certified and also a member of SAE ( society of automotive engineers). some of my notable accomplishment include winning the corvette gold with a 98 point showing on 67 stingray I restored, My restorations of expensive collector cars have been on display at the SEMA show, named show car of the year by Mopar muscle magazine. Won best of show and best paint in the Route 66 invitational car show. I put the same kind of quality and dedication into my PDR and hail repairs as well. I mostly work hail storms in the Midwest, working in body shops that have used me for nearly 15 years now and I have yet to lose an account. I work hail storm in the early spring till fall. If it was a good year I spend the winter in the Philippines with my lovely wife and our two awesome children, kentin and Max.. If it was a slow hail season I return to my body shop and do collision work, restorations and PDR repairs.
